A Shower Gel Review

November 23, 2008

I haven’t blogged in forever! I’m sorry! I’ve been very busy. I have been blogging in my head though, so if I can remember all the things I’ve wanted to write about, I should have some new stuff posted soon!

Something has been bothering me for a few weeks: My shower gel.

You see, in a quest to save money (yes, I do try), I bought a very inexpensive shower gel, Suave Naturals Body Wash in Sweet Pea and Violet scent. I can’t remember exactly how much I paid, but I just looked online, and it sells for about $2.50.

So, what’s the problem?

I’m glad you asked.

When I squeeze the bottle, a huge gel blob comes out. It’s too thick and doesn’t squeeze well. The problem with that? I go through much more with each squeeze than I ever do when I use another brand, such as Bath and Body Works. Therefore, the bottle empties much sooner. Therefore, I have to replace it more often. Therefore, my good deal may not be such a good deal.

I will not make this purchase again.

What’s your favorite brand of shower gel? And why?

Looking for a quality, inexpensive shower gel? Stay away from this one!

My favorite body wash is: Softsoap Ultra Rich Shea Butter Moisturizing Body Wash with Moisture Beads. I don’t think I even need to tell you why I love it. The product name says it all. Plus it smells yummy and it’s inexpensive!

I didn’t mean to be anonymous, my computer just didn’t save my name this time.
